Belfast man pleads guilty to drug related crimes

A Belfast man learned today that he'll spend some time on probation. Judge Thomas Brown sentenced 28-year-old Brockton M. Ludden to five years probation for attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance. Brown received a one year conditional discharge for the crime of driving while ability impaired. Of course, he also received fines, surcharges, fee's, etc.
Last March, Ludden was stopped by police on Route 19 in Scio. At the time, police alleged he was in possession of three grams of heroin. ADA Tom Fuoco prosecuted the case. Joe Miller was the defense attorney.
