Cuba crash: 6-8 injured, 1 dead UPDATED

Labor Day took a serious turn Monday at about 1:30 p.m. when first responders were called to a very serious crash on Keller Hill Road near State Route 305. A fire chief at the scene reported 6-8 injuries. While most injuries were initially considered minor, one person was reported "critical." Police later confirmed the man died. Mercy Flight was called to the scene. A portion of State Route 305  has been closed. Ambulances from both Allegany and Cattaraugus Counties have been called to the scene.
Initial radio reports indicated that the crash involved a vehicle and a motorcycle. Police are withholding additional information until family of the deceased has been notified and the investigation is concluded.
UPDATE BASED ON MULTIPLE OUTSIDE MEDIA REPORTS:
Cuba police say a 62-year-old Erie County man died in a motorcycle accident Labor Day afternoon. Police said Paul Nigro of Williamsville died after being flown to ECMC in Buffalo. The crash happened at the intersection of State Route 305 and Keller Hill Road involving Nigro’s motorcycle and two trucks. Police say charges are pending.
