to Support “Risk Less, Do More” National Campaign
WELLSVILLE, NY — Ardent Solutions, in partnership with the Allegany County Department of Health, is hosting a series of vaccination clinics this November as part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' “Risk Less, Do More” national campaign. The clinics will provide essential flu, RSV, and COVID-19 vaccinations, offering older adults and families in Allegany County a simple, accessible way to safeguard their health during the high-risk winter season.
The upcoming clinics are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, November 12: 12–3 PM at First Step Family Resource Center, 83 North Main St., Wellsville
- Friday, November 15: 9:30–11:30 AM, 1–3 PM at Crossroads Conference Center, 6087 State Route 19 North, Belmont
- Thursday, November 21: 1–5 PM at First Step Family Resource Center, 83 North Main St., Wellsville
Each clinic aims to provide safe and reliable vaccinations, with resources available to help ensure everyone can attend. In addition to offering free gas cards and bus passes for transportation support, each family that pre-registers will receive a $20 gift card to Giant Food Mart and each person will receive a “Risk Less, Do More” water bottle.
Helen Evans, Associate Director of Ardent Solutions, shared her thoughts on the importance of these vaccination clinics, particularly for older adults and adults with young children: “Vaccination is one of the most effective ways we can protect ourselves and our loved ones from preventable illnesses. This is especially true for older adults who are more vulnerable to flu, RSV, and COVID-19 and those who care for young children. By making these clinics accessible and easy, we’re helping ensure our community has the resources needed to stay healthy and safe.”
