As well as many nieces and nephews in which he loved so much.

Malcolm had an extraordinary likable personality. He loved people. Malcolm could talk to strangers and loved ones the same. He loved to laugh, joke, dance and just be happy. He showed compassion and understanding when most would walk away. His hobbies were fixing computers, playing chess, carving wood and one of his biggest loves was nature. Hiking was his peace of mind. Malcolms relationship with coffee and flannels were an everlasting love. He was happiest with a hot cup of coffee and a nice flannel shirt. The warmth they gave him, was the warmth he a shared with those around him.
Malcolm got his GED and joined the ARMY, becoming a Medic with the Parachute Battalion from 1965 to 1971 and again in 1975 to 1977. He loved God and Country with all his heart. Malcolm was a man of God who would let everyone know about God’s Grace, God’s Faithfulness and God’s everlasting Love. After the service, among many short term and second jobs, Malcolm worked for McGraw Eddison in Olean New York for 17 years, owned a wood carving store in Friendship for a small time, then worked and retired from Alstom (Wellsville) as a shipping specialist/welder in 2010. He decided to drive for Bockman of Wellsville for a year and a half when retirement became mundane, and left there to drive bus for ARC of Allegany until 2016, where the individuals warmed his heart and made him love life even more. His stories of the individuals he picked up/dropped off were always full of love and admiration. Malcolm was always busy, always on the move and his day always included being around people that he loved. People made him whole.
To describe Malcolm from the heart, he was; kind, loving, energetic, smart beyond measure, a man of God, a provider, a loving husband, father and grand/great-grandfather (a family man), compassionate, giving, a teacher, a leader, a student at every age and strong. So strong.
Malcolm will be missed by all that knew him, briefly or otherwise.
