Hornell man charged with violating Steuben's Social Hosting law

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on October 31, 2020, deputies arrested Luke S. Miller, age 43, of Flanagan Road, Hornell, New York, following an investigation into an anonymous tip of an underage drinking party on Flanagan Road.  It is alleged that Mr. Miller hosted a party in which fifteen persons under the age of 21 were present and which contained alcoholic beverages for consumption.  It is further alleged that four persons were under the age of 18.  Mr. Miller was charged with eleven counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and one count of Social Hosting.  Mr. Miller was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Hornellsville Town Court at a later date.
