Co-Founder, Ryan Nixon is the Owner of Stitch’s Loft a Prop &
Costume consulting company with headquarters based out Wellsville, NY. Ryan is
a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy.
He served as military police officer and Aviation Life Support
Technician for over 20 years! He dabbled in some costumes during high school,
and while in Navy was asked to assist Ron Howard’s team with few items for the (1995)
movie Apollo 13. Ryan then really got into prop and costuming due to his love
of Stargate in 2005 and started doing all his own costumes and helping friends
with small items and vest modifications. In early 2010 just before retiring
from the Navy Ryan was hired by a Warner Brothers Team for his flight gear
expertise for the (2011) Green Lantern movie starring Ryan Reynolds & Blake
Lively. He personally helped with all the flight scenes, even given a cameo
role in the film, and got to personally fit Ryan & Blake with all their flight
gear costumes and was asked to help direct Ryan’s ejection sequence in the film.
After the movie Ryan decided to start his own consulting company. He was called
back to help with the (2013) Enders Game movie starring Harrison Ford, and then
went on to provide supplies and props for (2013-2014 Season 2 of NBC’s hit show
REVOLUTION. Ryan was also asked to provide some items for (2014) Transformers:
Age of Extinction. In Summer of 2017 was asked to consult on the new Stargate ORGINS
web series and then provided some background props for the (2019) Captain
Marvel movie…

an Arkansas Bureau of Investigation car that later became a storm chaser car
for a freelance Fox New Storm Chaser in Oklahoma City. Ryan then purchased it
off eBay in the fall of 2008. Ryan used it while performing his duties as an
Animal Cruelty Investigator while serving with the Allegany County SPCA in 2010
after retiring from the Navy. In late February of 2019 it started its journey
of becoming a Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. throwback vehicle after some sparking
ideas of the path S.H.I.E.L.D. would have taken after the mid 90’s events of
Captain Marvel.
