PRESS RELEASE
On Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at approximately 11:35 a.m., New York State Police at Oneonta responded to a report of a male who fell approximately 20-30 feet from a ladder at a residence on Swart Hollow Road in the town of Oneonta.
Troy G. Anderson, age 56 of Oneonta was assisting the home owner with outside repairs when for an unknown reason fell off a ladder. The homeowner called 911. AMR ambulance and Oneonta Fire and Rescue began administering life saving measures prior to the arrival of troopers. Anderson was transported to A.O. Fox Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is on-going, but at this time no foul play was observed and it appears to be an accident.
