Mrs. Perry was born on Jan. 4, 1924 in Scio to Deo and Melvina (Campbell) Feenaughty. She attended Greenwood Central School. On Jan. 7, 1941 she married Harold W. Perry, who predeceased her in July 22, 1989.
Marjorie was a proud and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who spent her years caring for her family.
Marjorie is survived by seven daughters, Pearl Perry, Jane (Terry) Austin and Judy Perry, all of Florida, Carolyn Bowen of Allegany, Bonnie (George) Smith of Eldred, Pa., Norma (Craig) Gaylord of Andover and Charlene (Michael) Kellogg of Montana; three sons, Harold (Rose) Perry, Jr. of Alfred Station, Earl Perry of Florida and Dale (Penny) Perry of Andover; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great granddaughter; a special nephew, Gary (Cheryl) Briggs of Andover; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a
daughter, Florence Perry; three brothers, Lawrence Feenaughty, Charles
Feenaughty and Carl Feenaughty; and three sisters, Reda Tidd, Virginia Gardner
and Winifred Donaldson.
Marjorie loved her family and with 11 children, and
literally dozens of grandchildren, there was a lot of family to love. She
enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in her flowers. In her quiet moments,
Marjorie enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was a longtime member of the
Andover Baptist Church.
Per her wishes, there will be no prior visitation. A private
funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will
follow in Hillside Cemetery.
