Genesee, PA Fire/EMS embezzlement case postponed until November-Luce faces 128 counts



The criminal case against the former treasurer of the Genesee (PA) fire and ambulance department has been delayed until November. A criminal conference was originally set for next week. Scott Luce, 35, of Main Street in Genesee is accused of stealing more than $93,000 from the volunteer agency. Pennsylvania State Police leveled 128 felony and misdemeanor charges against Luce. He is currently free on a $100,000 bond. According to the Court of Common Pleas of Potter County, President Judge Stephen Minor granted a motion for a continuance of the criminal conference, rescheduling to November 6th at 9 a.m. Luce was previously convicted of stealing funds from the Independence Emergency Squad. In that case he was ordered to make restitution.
