NY State Police Blotter

4/13/18 2:30pm- After investigating a complaint in the town of Burns, state police arrested Ashley M. New, 32, of Arkport. She was issued a court appearance ticket for the charge of harassment.
4/13/18 6:03pm- State police arrested three people following a traffic stop in the town of Angelica. Jabar R. Williams, 25, of Brooklyn was charged with driving while intoxicated, operator impaired by drugs, drinking alcohol in a vehicle on the highway, using a portable electronic device, driving on the shoulder, moved from lane unsafely and a safety glass violation. Also arrested was a passenger, Rochelle E. Mills, 20, of the Bronx. She was charged with two counts of criminal possession of marijuana (more than 25 grams) and unlawful possession of marijuana. Rakeem Wells, 23, of Buffalo, was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana. All three were processed at the Amity barracks and released on appearance tickets for court.
4/14/18 12:48am- State police arrested Julie B. Sweeney, 42, of Corning. She was charged with felony criminal possession of stimulants and lesser counts of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia (scales) and criminal possession of meth manufacturing materials. She was sent to the Steuben County jail on $10,000 bail.
