Police to Cattaraugus County woman - stop calling means stop calling

A Cattaraugus County woman will return to an Olean courtroom Tuesday after being arrested twice in separate cases.
On December 7th at 12:50 p.m. Linda M Tally, 41, of 180 Main St. in Randolph NY, was taken into custody on Obstruction of Governmental Administration charges. According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, Tally allegedly called the 911 emergency line 17 times and the non-emergency line 15 times after being told to stop. Tally then and allegedly actively resisted during arrest and was then charged with resisting arrest.  A judge arraigned and released her to return to Olean City Court Tuesday at 9 a.m. In a separate case, Tally was taken into custody on a felony arrest warrant from the City of Olean charging her with welfare fraud 4th and grand larceny 4th. During processing, Tally allegedly refused to answer all questions and was therefore charged with Obstruction.
