Following an investigation into a larceny reported by the
Elm Street Academy on November 9th, a 17-year-old Franklinville male was
arrested for petit larceny after he allegedly stole a pair of BEATS headphones
from another student at the Elm Street Academy. The youth was processed and
given an appearance ticket to appear in the Cuba Town Court. He is presumed
innocent until proven guilty. (Name withheld due to age)
Jessee J. Bissett, 32,
of Whitesville was arrested for petit larceny after he allegedly stole goods
from the Giant Food Mart. After exciting the store Bissett allegedly jumped
into the back of a passing pickup truck and a short pursuit ensued. Bissett was
apprehended by Cuba Police officers and processed. Bissett was arraigned and
sent to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $500 bail. He is presumed innocent
until proven guilty in a court of law.
