Belfast man gets probation in Cuba heroin case

A Belfast man will not go to prison for selling heroin in Cuba nearly two years ago. In Allegany County court Monday, Caleb A. Logue, 22, of Shaller Road was sentenced to five years probation. Judge Thomas Brown also directed Logue to pay $100 in restitution plus a DNA fee. On March 20th, Logue pleaded guilty to one count of felony criminal sale of a controlled substance. According to a press release, District Attorney Keith Slep said Logue possessed and sold heroin to a confidential informant working with the Sheriff's Department on December 4, 2015 in Cuba.
