The New York State Police in Geneseo NY, reports the arrest of three men for the illegal possession of two loaded handguns. After stopping a 2002 Toyota Camry for 82 MPH in a 65 MPH, on State Route 390 in the town of North Dansville, NY, Livingston County, an investigation revealed that Tyreike M. Smith-Bedroe, age 18 of Mount Vernon NY; Tasjawn W. White, age 17 of Mount Vernon NY; Jamir J. Simpson, age 18 of Stamford CT, allegedly possessed a loaded .44 caliber revolver and a loaded .22 caliber semiautomatic pistol. The .44 caliber had been previously reported stolen from a residence in the City of Poughkeepsie. The three defendants claimed to be travelling to Buffalo, NY for an unknown reason. All three suspects were charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree(C-Felony), 1 count Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th(E-Felony). Simpson was additional charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
All three were arraigned in the town of North Dansville Court and remanded to the Livingston County Jail in Lieu of $10,000 cash/$20,000 bond for Smith-Bedroe and Simpson and $7,500cash/$15,000 bond for White. All three are return to the town of North Dansville Court on 04/18/17.
