Ronald Glenn Warriner, 54, beloved husband, father, son,
brother, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, April 10,
2017 at home in North Bingham, PA. Ron,
originally from Canisteo, NY, was the second child of John and Marilyn Mullen
Warriner, born on July 9, 1962 in Hornell, NY.
Ron attended Greenwood Central School, graduating in 1980. Due to his love of farming and learning, he
continued his education and graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 1982 with an
Associate’s Degree in Agricultural Business.
After graduation, he returned to and operated the family farm. On February 10, 1987, Ron married the love of
his life and best friend, Nancy Freeman. They farmed with Nancy’s parents in
Jasper for two years before venturing out on their own to farm. For the next 28 years, they bred their
Registered Prefix Ro-N-An Holstein Herd in NY and PA. In addition to farming full time, they
lovingly raised their four children.
They supported and participated in all of their activities and events
along with supporting their several “adoptive” children. He is survived by his sweetheart of 30 years,
Nancy, twin sons Kellen and Evan, daughters Marissa and Rebecca, parents John
and Marilyn Warriner, siblings, Doug Warriner of Canisteo, NY, Allan (Judy)
Warriner of Arkport, NY, James (Nina) Warriner of Bath, NY, Valerie (Dan)
Anthony of Woodhull, NY, Kristine (Jason) Hayes of Jasper, NY, Amy (Jason)
Peters of Canisteo, NY, 34 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and
nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his brother Jonathan Warriner on August 30, 2002,
his Grandma Bernice Mullen in 2002, his Grandma Lillian Warriner in 1989, his
Grandpa Howard Warriner in 1980, and his Grandpa Glen Mullen in 1969. Friends and family may call at Bennett’s
Creek Bible Church, 3740 Route 248, Canisteo, NY, 14823 on Saturday, April 15,
2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., with Funeral Services following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Bennett’s Creek Cemetery at
a later date. In lieu of flowers,
