A tractor trailer overturned in the eastbound lane of I-86 in Cuba this afternoon during the 3 p.m. hour. On scene reports said there were no serious injuries, but about 60 feet of guard rail was damaged. The incident forced the closure of the eastbound lane between Cuba and Friendship. Traffic was detoured along County Road 20, but several residents of the highway expressed concern at the speed of the increased traffic. Police are hoping the Interstate will reopen by or before midnight. A heavy wrecker service and a hazmat team were called to the scene.
