Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on April 7th 2017, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Bath Police Department arrested Colin D. Decker, Age 29, of Bath New York on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued by the Town of Almond Court. Decker was located by the Bath Police Department and turned over to Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office. Decker was then processed and transported to the Town of Almond Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail without bail and is due to reappear in the Town of Almond Court on May 5th, 2017 at 5:00p.m.

On April 8th 2017, Deputies arrested Randy A. Taylor, Age 31, of Great Valley New York on an Allegany County Family Court Warrant. Taylor was located by Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Deputies and turned over to Allegany County Deputies. Decker was then processed and transported to the Town of Friendship Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $1200.00 cash / $2500.00 insurance bond, and is due to reappear in Allegany County Family Court on a later date.
