Free Smoke Alarms Available In Coudersport

Residents of Coudersport have a unique opportunity to have free smoke alarms installed in their homes and instruction on fire safety on Saturday morning, March 18. A partnership of the American Red Cross and Coudersport Knights of Columbus was recently formed to sponsor the event. Dozens of volunteers will meet at the St. Eulalia Catholic Church at 8:30 a.m. and then fan out across the community to begin their mission. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 814-817-4043. Volunteers will only be stopping at homes of those who have requested alarms in advance.
