Belfast plans hearing on local law

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Belfast at the Municipal Building, 13 Merton Avenue, in the Town of Belfast, New York, at 7 P.M. on the 20th day of February, 2017, concerning proposed Local Law Number 1 of 2017, entitled “A Local Law Providing for the Administration and Enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.” The purpose of the proposed local law is to provide for the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code within the Town of Belfast. A copy of the proposed local law is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter of the proposed local law will be heard concerning the same.
