CUBA - Ronald F. Boser, of 2222 Wolf Creek Road, passed away
Saturday (Feb. 4, 2017) at Wellsville Manor after a brief illness. Ron was born
Jan. 31, 1944, in Olean, a son of the late Hazel Thompson Belleisle and the
late Carl Boser, and step-father, Douglas Belleisle who helped raise Ronald.
On July 11, 1998, in Yorkshire, he married Louise Green, who
survives.
He attended Portville Central School and worked as a
mechanic for many years at various locations. Ronald enjoyed his classic cars,
woodworking and his dogs, Paws and Cody. He was a mascot for WPIG radio in
Olean, for many years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Candy
(Tim) Lunn of Cuba, Penny Fields of Cuba, Benjamin (Molly) Gleason of
Queensbury, Dorothy Boser of Arcade, Betsy (Don) Scott of North Carolina, Mary
Ann (Jim) Phillips of Rochester, Ronnie Joe Boser and Heather Boser; his
stepsons, Thomas (Laurie) DeLude of Bliss, Daniel (Sue) DeLude of North Java
and Brian (Loretta) DeLude of Yorkshire; two brothers, Richard (Sid) Boser of
Olean and David Belleisle of Olean; a sister, Diane Belleisle of Florida; many grandchildren
and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Denise Auman.
Family will receive friends at the Guenther Funeral Home,
Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean, on Wednesday (Feb. 8, 2017) from 4 to 8 p.m. immediately
followed by funeral and committal services in the funeral home. Pastor Jody
Babb will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
