1/15/21 12:13pm- State Police arrested Nicole J. Peters, 27, of Genesee, NY. She was charged with nine counts of torture/Injure/Not feeding animals and nine counts of neglect of impounded animal. She will answer the charges in Town of Genesee court at a later date.
1/15/21 4:35pm: Ricky Brooks, 55, of Kanona has been charged with second-degree murder for the death of his girlfriend, 38-year-old Roberta Parry, according to New York State Police.
Parry was found deceased Friday morning in a home that she shared with Brooks on the 7000 block of North Main Street in Kanona, near the Town of Bath.
Brooks was arrested by New York State Police and will be arraigned on Saturday.
A cause of death for Parry was not provided by State Police.
State Police say the investigation is on-going.
