Andover woman accused of selling heroin/fentanyl

PRESS RELEASE: 

On October 2, 2020, the New York State Police Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested McKenzie J. Barnes, 22, of Andover New York, for two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, all Class “B” felonies.  Barnes is accused of selling Heroin/fentanyl earlier this year in the Village of Andover.  Barnes was processed at the State Police barracks in Amity and then taken to the Allegany County Jail to await arraignment on a later date.

In October 2019, Barnes was arrested by Livingston County deputies for possessing 40 bags of heroin. She was also arrested by Allegany County deputies earlier this year for violating probation.
