COVID-19 Statistic Update

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 8.93 million people, and there have been over 228,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 503,176 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 25,792 deaths statewide. As of 2:15 p.m. on October 29, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Confirmed Cases: 353

Recovered Cases: 242

COVID-19 Related Deaths: 8*

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date: 2,664

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 2,153

Currently Quarantined/Isolated: 511

Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date: 1,150

Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given: 834

Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives: 47
