Allegany County: Local businessman, Kevin Clark, owner of Trout Run Camp Resort offers deal for SPCA of Allegany County

Along with the kickoff of its annual Theme Basket Auction, the SPCA has launched a longer raffle, the SPCA Vacation Raffle. The offer is from local businessman Kevin Clark of Trout Run Camp Resort.

SPCA Serving Allegany County President Linda Pruski explained, “Last year when the auction was already underway a local businessman came in and offered his cabin for a week’s vacation. It was too late to do anything about it then, so this year we are offering it as a special raffle starting at the auction and running through November and into December. We will have the drawing around Christmas.”

The Vacation Raffle is for a week-long stay in an eight-person cabin in the Thousand Islands on Alexandria Bay and includes use of a pontoon boat.

The one-of-a-kind cabin is located on a private island and offers spectacular sunsets and a wraparound deck from which to watch them. It features a rustic atmosphere which provides 369-degree views in a private, relaxing, and serene setting. There are three bedrooms with two queen size beds in one, two bunk beds in the second and a king -size bed in a 600 square foot master bedroom suite overlooking the water. There is a full kitchen, bath, and laundry. The week-long stay is valued at $4,500.

“I think that this is something that after a year like this past year anyone would enjoy winning and getting away right here in New York state,” said Pruski.

Tickets for the Vacation Raffle are on sale now at the auction and will soon be available from the SPCA online or at the shelter.
