He was born December 28, 1941 in Wellsville, NY son of the
late Daniel and Elizabeth Terribury Leonard. Paul was employed as a machinist
for many years at the Dresser-Rand Company in Wellsville. He was a lifetime
volunteer firefighter, serving for many years in the Perry Center Fire
Department. Paul was an avid stock car enthusiast and served as a mechanic for
many racing teams. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.
Surviving are his sons, Martin (Karen) Leonard of Angelica,
Daniel Leonard of Arizona, Jason (Chastity) Leonard of Belmont; sister, Gloria
Meese of Scio; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his former spouse,
Linda Bonhoff of Silver Springs. He was predeceased by one grandchild and
siblings, Elaine and Barbara.
A Fireman’s service will be held on Saturday, August 22 at
11 a.m. followed by Paul’s memorial service at the Robinson & Hackemer
Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the Perry
