State of emergency extended in Allegany County

The state of emergency has been extended in Allegany County. Monday afternoon, Legislature Chairman Curt Crandall told lawmakers the need continues, especially with residents travelling out of state to "hot spots" and then returning home. Crandall said the declaration could assist in obtaining federal funding. Crandall noted that today was the first time the legislature actually met in person, since March 9th.
