Several dozen employees of Highland Park Nursing Home in Wellsville, marched and held signs today and they conducted a picket at the facility to protest their lack of a contract. Almost two years ago, Highland Park workers organized a union chapter in hopes of improving care and working conditions at the facility. To date, workers still have no contract. According to a press release, "Highland Park staff have done a heroic job throughout the pandemic to keep their residents as safe as possible. It is time that they were treated fairly by this for-profit employer."
