A new rate increase will impact Charter Spectrum cable customers beginning August 5th. The company said the rate increase is attributed to rising programming costs. There is no price increase for Spectrum Internet, Voice or Mobile plans, and there is no change to the cost of Spectrum TV equipment.
The New York State Public Service Commission was about to end Charters ability to do business in New York last year. Charter was allowed back in when they agreed to bring broadband service to at least 145,000 homes by September 2021.
