Norma V. Dimon, 94, of Galeton, PA, died Wednesday, July 15,
2020 in her home. Born December 16,
1925, in Atchison, KS, she was the daughter of Clarence Hubert “Dutch” and Mary
Elizabeth Signor Shaver. On April 2,
1946, in Atchison, KS, she married Franklin Kenneth Dimon, who predeceased her
in 1994. Norma was employed by the Ox
Yoke in Galeton for 20 years.
Surviving are: two
children, Franklin Kenneth (Janet) Dimon, Jr. of Milton and Keith (Janet) Dimon
of Galeton; five grandchildren, seven
great-grandchildren; nieces and
nephews. In addition to her parents and
husband, she was predeceased by ten siblings, A. Jeanne Edwards, Mary E.
Keaton, Clarence H. “Babe” Shaver, Jr., Richard D. Shaver, Jacob Burris Shaver,
Charles Shaver, Victor Joel Shaver, William Lyle Shaver, Lawrence Duward
Shaver, and Robert Shaver.
Cremation was at Olney-Foust Crematory, Ulysses, PA. A private memorial service will be held at
Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA. Rev. John Prouty will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Gale Hose
