Ernest C. Ludwig, 69, of Penn Yan, NY, died Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Homestead at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Penn Yan. Born May 24, 1951, in Nunda, he was the son of Arland and Lorma Cromwell Ludwig. Surviving are: a brother, Allen (Linda) Ludwig of Richmond; a niece, Lisa Ludwig of Buffalo; and his caregiver of nine years, Sharon Swarts and her children of Penn Yan. He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, David Ludwig and James Ludwig.
Cremation was held at Olney-Foust Crematory. A private graveside will be held in Sunnyview Cemetery, Town of Grove. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Yates County at www.yateshumane.org.
