New York State Fair officially canceled this year

Another popular summertime event has been halted by the coronavirus pandemic. The announcement came Monday that the 2020 New York State Fair has been canceled. In a Tweet, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said "this one hurts — I love the State Fair. But the risk is too high to hold it this summer." In 2019, the Fair had record attendance.
