Mitchell H. Ruback “beloved father, grandfather,
great-grandfather, and companion”
SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.----Mitchell H. Ruback, 81, of
Shinglehouse, former of Bucks County, passed away unexpectedly in his home on
Friday, January 24, 2020.
Born on Wednesday, March 9, 1938 in Philadelphia, he was a
son of Benjamin and Sarah Levin Ruback.
On June 6, 1959 in Philadelphia, he married Carolyn Schonwetter, who
passed away on February 23, 2008.
Mitchell, along with his family, owned and operated The
Doughmen Soft Pretzel Bakery in Montgomeryville.
Mitchell was an active member of the Oswayo Valley Senior
Center in Shinglehouse. He loved being
with his family, friends, and loving companion, Gladys Ramsey.
Surviving are two sons, Scott D. Ruback of Wyalusing and
Andrew L. (Diane) Ruback of Shinglehouse; four grandchildren, Leslie Rhoads,
Joseph Ruback, and twins, Ben and Adam Ruback; two great-grandsons, Sean Rhoads
and Justin Rhoads; a sister, Elaine (Alan) Klawins of Willow Grove; and nieces
and nephews.
Mitchell was predeceased by his parents and his wife.
Friends are invited to attend graveside funeral services at
2 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse.

Mitchell’s family has entrusted his care to Kevin J.
