Wellsville woman arrested after crash on Trapping Brook Road

A Wellsville woman was arrested following a one vehicle crash early Sunday. State Police said they charged 21-year-old Samantha T. Hennessy with driving while intoxicated and having a blood alcohol content above .08%. Hennessy's vehicle traveled off the road and struck a tree on Trapping Brook Road in Wellsville. The impact toppled the tree across the highway. Wellsville Fire responded to clear the roadway. The driver, according to radio reports, left the scene and was later located at a home in the village. She was processed at the Amity barracks and released on appearance tickets for Town of Wellsville court.
