BELMONT, NEW YORK – Cornell Cooperative Extension of Allegany County’s Agriculture Program welcomes you to join our Master Gardener’s for our Fall Gardening Day, held Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at Allegany’s Cooperative Extension located at 5435A County
Rd 48 in Belmont. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This is great opportunity to for you to meet some of your local Master Gardeners, along with the opportunity to learn or engage in fall gardening practices. An active presentation and discussion with Allegany’s new CCE Community Horticulture Educator, Jeremy Baier and Allegany’s local Master Gardeners in preparation for the fall to winter transition. The presentation will begin with soil health importance and identification, followed by, spring bulb preparations and composting practices. Recess will be held between each presentation with an opportunity for questions, beverages and snacks will be provided.
