Wellsville Police arrested David M. Rahr, age 23 of
Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Sexual Act 2nd (Class D Felony), Sexual
Abuse 2nd and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The charges stem from an incident that took
place on West Dyke Street in the Village of Wellsville in October of 2018. Rahr was processed and arraigned before
Wellsville Village Justice O’Connor.
Rahr was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail
or $20,000.00 property bond. Rahr is due
back in Wellsville Village Court on August 20th at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police charged Ridge C. Potter, age 29 with
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd (unclassified misdemeanor) for driving with
a suspended driver’s license. The charge
stems from a traffic stop on West State Street in the Village of
Wellsville. Potter was issued a traffic
citation and released. Potter is due to
appear in Wellsville Village Court on August 13th at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police arrested Raymond L. Swartzentruber, age 55
of Wellsville, charging him with Petit Larceny.
The charge stems from an incident that took place at Crosby’s on June
30th. Swartzentruber was processed,
issued an appearance ticket and released.
Swartzentruber is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 23rd
at 4:30 p.m.
