A Belfast man is facing multiple charges after he was pulled
over in the Village of Belmont at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. Troopers arrested
46-year-old George Featherman charging him with aggravated driving while
intoxicated, DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation and drinking alcohol in a
vehicle on the highway. He’ll appear in Belmont village court at a later date.
State police arrested 54-year-old Elizabeth Porter of
Andover during a traffic stop on Willets Avenue in Belmont. She was charged
with first-degree driving while impaired by drugs. Court action is pending.
