Wellsville fire chiefs unanimously approved

The fire chief candidates wait for village action

Unlike the controversy that clouded the fire service last year, there were no public complaints made to the village board about the fire department elections this year. Trustee Ed Fahs made a motion to approve the following nominations for the fire department:
Fire Chief: Michael 'Barney' Dillie
1st assistant chief: Kevin Fleischman
2nd assistant chief: Rod Winans
Each candidate was approved by a 4-0 vote.
