Seven arrested in Olean drug raid - several flee out second story window

The Olean Police Department Street Crimes Unit, along with the Emergency Response Unit and assistance from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Departments Special Response Team and K-9 unit executed a search warrant Wednesday night at approximately 11:45 p.m. at a home located at 408 North Ninth Street in the City of Olean. Captain Robert Blovsky said several occupants of the residence attempted to flee out of a second story window but were detained on the porch roof by police. Seven of the eleven people at the house were arrested for possessing crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. All seven people listed below were transported to the Olean police department for booking and are being held in City lock up for arraignment. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force also assisted with this search warrant.

Charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd. degree (B Felony) and criminally using drug paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor):

- Aoife McClerath, 20, 68 Victoria Ave., Jamestown NY

-Nadars Ngoopos, 20, 86 Ross Ave. Buffalo NY

-Damone Lee McNamee, 21,182 Kenmore Ave. Buffalo NY

-Joseph Zachary Jones, 19, 670 North Cumberland, Buffalo NY

Charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd. degree (B Felony), criminally using drug paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor) and unlawful possession of marijuana:

-Diamond M. Allen, 22, 218 French St. Buffalo N.Y.

Charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree (B Felony), criminally using drug paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor), possessed Crack Cocaine and Heroin:

-Jamieck Brian Baxter, 22, 124 Clifton St. Rochester N.Y.

Charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree (A Misdemeanor), criminally using drug paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor):

-Garrett T. Maurouard, 26, 408 N. 8th Street Olean.
