On Friday members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), Troop E Uniform Force, NYSP Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and the Elmira Police Department conducted a narcotic investigation at State Route 417 in the Town of Jasper, NY.
Investigators seized approximately 16 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and US currency.
As a result of the investigation, Andrew Diffenbacher, 36, of Route 417 in Jasper was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (class B Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree (class D Felony).
Andrew Diffenbacher was remanded to the Steuben County Jail awaiting arraignment.
The arrests stemmed from an investigation conducted by the New York State Police and the Elmira Police Department.
