Pennsylvania State Police say a 77-year-old sustained fatal injuries after the vehicle she was driving crashed on Route 46 in Keating Township at 10:34 a.m. today.
Linda G. Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene by McKean County Deputy Coroner Martin Henneman. Troopers said Peterson was driving south at an apparent high rate of speed. She lost control of her vehicle, struck an embankment, entered a ditch for 130 feet before overturning. Troopers said the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
