Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on April 2, 2019, with the assistance of the Wellsville Police Department, Deputies arrested Christopher C. White, age 27 of Wellsville, on an Allegany County Violation of Probation Warrant.  White was taken into custody by the Wellsville Police Department and turned over to Deputies. White was then processed and transported to Allegany County Court where he was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

On April 1, 2019, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Scott D. Vaughn, age 33 of Hinsdale, on an Allegany County Family Court Warrant. Vaughn was taken into custody at the Allegany County Court Complex, processed, and arraigned in Allegany County Family Court where he was released on his own recognizance. 

On April 1, 2019, Deputies assisted the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office with the arrest of Kerri R. Cobb, age 30 of Bolivar, on a Monroe County Superior Court Warrant. Cobb was taken into custody at the Allegany County Court Complex, processed, and turned over to the Custody of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. 

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on March 27, 2019, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office assisted the City of Hornell Police Department with the arrest of Gregory A. Kerr Jr., age 47 of Hornell, on a Bench Warrant issued by the City of Hornell Court.  Kerr was taken into custody at the Allegany County Court Complex, processed, and turned over to the City of Hornell Police Department.
