Woman killed in Cattaraugus County crash

On August 15, 2018 at 6:32 p.m., Troopers responded to a one vehicle collision on Abbott Road in the town of Lyndon.  Further investigation revealed that a 2006 Jeep Liberty was traveling eastbound on Abbott Road and was operated by Karen M. Putt,42, of Alexander. The vehicle crossed over into the oncoming lane and exited the roadway and struck a tree.  Putt was pronounced at the scene and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
