Employees at Steuben Trust Company Donate to Fourteen Area Organizations

HORNELL - If you noticed your local Steuben Trust Company employees dressing casually to work on a Friday, it was for a good cause! Throughout 2017, employees from Steuben Trust Company were asked if they would like to voluntarily donate monthly on behalf of local charities that serve their communities. Each employee who contributed was allowed to dress casually on the donation days, a small thank you to those who participated. “We had overwhelming success this year with our dress down and donate campaign!” Steve Harriger, Marketing Director, said. “We had participation at every location and our team really got into the spirit of giving. I am proud of the generosity our team has. Now, we are excited to share our contributions with the organizations that impact our lives and the lives of our neighbors, friends, and families on a daily basis.” This year (2017), the employees raised over $1600 and provided donations to fourteen area organizations. Each group was presented a check from managers at their respective branches during the holiday season.“We are honored to participate with these organizations and the services they provide our communities. We plan to continue this great campaign and are hopeful we can expand the number of donations in the future.” Harriger said. Steuben Trust Company planned to kick-off its 2018 campaign on Friday January 12th.
