The New York State Police have arrested three subjects after they were allegedly caught in the act of burglarizing a seasonal residence on the Dublin Rd. in the Town of Howard. At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Steuben County 911 was contacted by a concerned citizen, who observed suspicious activity in the area. Responding Troopers took the following subjects into custody:
--Kevin S. Scott; age 54; of 28 Second St. Canisteo, N.Y.
--Earle J. Robbins, III; age 32; of 8486 Bates Rd., Bath,
N.Y.
--Whittany K. Hale; age 28; of 8486 Bates Rd., Bath,
N.Y.
A quantity of property stolen from within the residence, was
allegedly located in a vehicle which had purportedly been used by the
perpetrators. All were charged with one
count of Burglary, 2nd degree, (class “D” felony), and arraigned before Town of
Bath Justice James Burns. Scott and
Robbins were committed to jail without bail, and Hale was committed on
$2,000.00 cash bail or $4,000.00 property bond.
In addition, a Violation of Parole Warrant was lodged against Robbins,
who is currently on parole due to a conviction for attempted criminal
possession of a controlled substance.
All are scheduled to reappear in the Town of Bath Court on Monday 3:00
p.m.
