ACCORD Allegany Business Center scores grant

The ACCORD Allegany Business Center is proud to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of the 2017 Foundation for Rural Service grant. The grant program is designed to help rural communities overcome challenges related to accessing technology, improving educational offerings, combating opioid addiction, and providing telemedicine and first response emergency services to rural services. As a recipient of the grant, ACCORD’s Allegany Business Center will purchase new laptop computers for its computer lab, QuickBooks software and will have a staff member certified to conduct QuickBooks training workshops for local entrepreneurs.

ACCORD would like to express sincere appreciation to the Foundation for Rural Service for the grant award and the Armstrong Telephone Company for the sponsoring the application. We are excited to expand our offerings and to provide further assistance to the local business community.
