Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on September 25, 2017, Deputies arrested Adam K. Nudd, age 28 of Clarksville, charging him with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree. The charge stems from an investigation at the Allegany County Jail where Nudd allegedly contacted an individual who was named as a protected party in an order of protection issued by the Town of Clarksville Court while he incarcerated. Nudd was processed and issued an appearance ticket directing him to the Town of Amity Court on October 25, 2017 to answer the charge.

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on September 21, 2017, with the assistance of the Penn Yan Police Department, Deputies arrested Aaron P. Jeffords, age 42 of Penn Yan, on an Allegany County Violation of Probation Warrant. Jeffords was picked up by Deputies and transported back to Allegany County where he was processed and transported to the Allegany County Jail without bail. Jeffords is due back in Allegany County Court at a later date for additional court action.
