The New York State
Department of Transportation today announced culvert replacement work will
begin on State Route 417 in the Town of Greenwood. Work on the culvert
located approximately ½ mile east of the intersection of State Route 417 and
Steuben County Route 126 will begin on Monday, June 12th, and is
scheduled to be completed Friday, June 16th.
A
full road closure of State Route 417 will be necessary at the project site
between June 12-19, 2017. A signed
detour using County Route 126 and State Route 36 will be available for through
traffic. All properties on State Route 417 will remain accessible while
work is being completed. Variable
message signs in the area have given road users advance notice of the work.
