Cuba: Songs of Faith, Hope, and Inspiration

The Palmer Opera House & Event Center, is hosting a concert on Thursday June 15th at 6:00 p.m., organized by the Council of Churches.  Songs of Faith, Hope, and Inspiration features many local talented musicians performing uplifting and hopeful music.  
The Cuba Council of Churches is a fellowship of local community churches working together to minister to the needs of community of Cuba, New York.  The churches involved are Christ Episcopal, Our Lady of the Angles, The Church Project, Cuba United Methodist Church, Cuba First Baptist and North Park Wesleyan. 
Admission is by donation, and refreshments will be available.  Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Council of Churches Scholarship Fund.  
The Palmer Opera House in Cuba is a vintage theater located in New York. This historic theater is steeped with rich character and details of another era. Palmer Opera House was built in 1867, and after a long and rich history fell into disrepair and restoration began in 2006 by the Cuba Friends of Architecture, the non profit organization charged with maintaining the historic venue.  
Proceeds from this show will benefit the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the historic venue.
