NY State Police Blotter

5/16/17 11:16am- State police arrested James A. Scotchmer, 32, of Scio. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was held for court action.
5/7/17 2:19pm- State police arrested David Romero, 35 and Lydia Romero, 31, both of Friendship. They were charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Court action is pending.
5/17/17 3:36am- A man from Alfred Station was arrested during a traffic stop this morning in the Village of Canisteo. Troopers charged 20-year-old David Lapierre with driving while intoxicated and having a BAC above. .08%. He was released with tickets for court.

Also from Steuben County: 
State police report the arrest of 37-year-old Adam Hunt of Corning. He was charged with recklessly damaging property and trespass. Court action is pending.
State police arrested 30-year-old Michael Altemose of Coopers Plains. He was charged with unlawfully growing cannabis, unlawfully dealing with a child involving alcohol, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a weapon. He was issued appearance tickets for court and released.
A domestic dispute ended with a Corning man facing a felony charge. State police said 22-year-old Rahmel Baptist was charged with felony criminal mischief. Court action is pending.
A Wayland man has been charged with five counts of unlawfully dealing with a child. Troopers Tuesday afternoon arrested and charged 53-year-old Cal Buck. He was released on appearance tickets for court.
