Hartsville Councilman James Perry dies - Evening Tribune

HARTSVILLE — Hartsville Town Councilman James Perry has died.
State troopers responded to Perry's residence at 692 Call Hill Road, at approximately 10:45 Monday night for an "unattended death."

Perry was a 1976 Hornell High School graduate. A registered Democrat, Perry had served on the town board since Jan. 1, 2006.

"The real tragedy here is for his family, his children," said Hartsville Supervisor John Bowles. "Leaving them so suddenly has to be a terrible thing for them."
A town board meeting scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed until March 15.
